Autumn box - Jura/Beaujolais

Our first launch box with selected wines for the fall. For this box we have been to Beaujolais and Jura and tried to find a mix of security and a little madness. From one of our absolute favorite areas Jura comes both table wines and some real top cuvées from two of the area's up and coming winemakers. From Domaine Les Volets Rouges in Beaujolais comes Gamay in a feather-light Fleurie style. Simply wines that will be perfect for autumn dinners and wine evenings.

1 x Nøvice - Orange Manuel Millennium 2023

An aromatic orange wine with equal parts personality and balance. Savagnin that gets skin contact to create structure and depth, without being too messy. On the nose it is floral and spicy with notes of orange peel and tea. A lively wine with both energy and elegance – a little sunshine in a glass, simply put.

1 x Maxim Lannay - Take My Coconut 2022

100% Chardonnay that feels like a Tom Kha Gai at a Nobel dinner. Coconut, lemongrass and lime in a wonderful balance.

1 x Maxim Lannay - Raide Is Dead 2023

Pinot, Gamay, Trousseau. Real rock'n'roll in the glass.
Let it air for half an hour, but then you'll have a real ride on your palate.

A Ploussard with a lot of joie de vivre. Red berries and citrus that pop.

2 x Maxim Lannay/Les Barbatruks - Barbalolo (Merlot)

A slightly simpler table wine made from purchased Merlot from Ardeche.
Soft, juicy, easy to sip and irresistible.

Sun-ripened, slightly smoky Grenache. Just as good on a Tuesday as late on a Saturday night. A quick mental trip to the South of France in the glass

100% Poulsard with a light hand and a lot of heart. Fresh, fruity and elegant with notes of red currant and herbs. Light on the feet but full of personality. A straight and honest natural wine that will only make you happy.

1 x Domaine Les Volets Rouges - Pépette 2024

Gamay from Beaujolais which is quite danceable, simple and complex at the same time.
Red berries, slightly herbal, incredibly sippable. Works just as well with dinner as just a Friday night bottle.

Gamay grown on old logs, so a little more danceable and elegant.
